We had such a beautiful and relaxing stay at Hanging Rock Views. The property is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and surrounded by stunning countryside. Our suite was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the views, the quiet atmosphere and being so close to Hanging Rock and the Macedon Ranges. Relaxed luxury in classic Australian setting!! Just such a wonderful experience. So quiet, so peaceful. Every need is accommodated. Luxurious sheets and pillows on an amazingly comfortable king sized bed. Little kitchenette with everything you need. Owner leaves breakfast goodies for you. Also the main kitchen is accessible with even more supplies and appliances, but we made a full cooked breakfast every morning without the need to use anything but what was in our room. This is not your typical B&B, we never saw another person. It was just amazing. The icing on the cake is the location. Sweeping views from your private terrace towards hanging rock. Kangaroos and cockatoos, like I have never seen before. We did not hear anything for our entire stay - no traffic noise, no voices (all the rooms were occupied) but there is sound proofing on the walls. Polished concrete floors, modern, sparkling clean and very very comfortable. Netflix and wifi perfect. Video attached of the view from our terrace on our first afternoon, whilst sitting enjoying a couple of bevies. There is a seperate outdoor communal gazebo with BBQ and fire pit, but after an amazing long lunch in one of the next door towns, we were just happy chilling in our room, watching movies, cheese/wine and watching the sun set. If you want an escape from the world, this is it! It has the most spectacular view of hanging rock. The bed and pillows were so comfy I didn’t want to get out of bed. The suite had everything we needed and the little touches like decanting the milk into a glass bottle in the fridge are an example of the attention to detail here. The sculptures add a sophisticated and quirky element to the property. I was only here for 2 nights in adjoining suites with my elderly mum in the accessible suite. We couldn’t be happier. The kangaroos came to the paddock in front of the house which was beautiful to observe. If you need a recharge, this is the place! I very highly recommend it!

Delightful getaway with kangaroo views and great amenities! We just spent two wonderful nights here and can’t wait to come back. One of the absolute highlights was waking up (and winding down) to mobs of kangaroos right outside our room at dawn and dusk—a truly special experience. The Accommodation: We were welcomed into a beautifully furnished sitting room shared by the four suites. It was the perfect spot to relax, read, or play games. The host provides a bowl of fruit, a great selection of biscuits, and an espresso machine for proper barista-style coffee, which was a lovely touch. There is also a deep spa bath available for use by the suites. The Suite: Our room was well-appointed and comfortable. The bed was great, and the bathroom was spotless. We were particularly impressed by the food prep area; it was fully equipped with everything needed to prepare, cook, and dine in. The View & Service: The view is stunning and features the iconic Hanging Rock. We had a minor internet issue during our stay, but the proprietor, Helen, was absolutely delightful and fixed it immediately. Bonus for EV Drivers: A huge plus was the on-site EV charging. Superb location and accommodation - if you are reading this review - don’t hesitate to book👍 Worthy of a 5*+ We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights and were very impressed by both the facilities and the helpful communications sent by Chris. The rooms are spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The communal seating/kitchen/BBQ areas are a real bonus. To be honest I almost did not want to review this place because I want to keep it all to myself. I think this place has better provisions that what we have in our own home. Literally everything is thought of. The entire place is pristine both inside and out. I did not this I would even use the relaxation room with the bath but I did and boy was it outstanding. Spectacular view of Hanging Rock across green fields where a mob of 30+ kangaroos wander in every evening. Walking trails up the slope amid the trees: birdsong and running water over ancient stone. Our family had a lovely stay at Hanging Rock Views. We had a toddler and they willingly accommodated our need for an additional bedding. Thankful for friends’ recommendation because this place was indeed beyond beautiful. You get to wake up to kangaroos hanging out front and the magnificent view of Hanging Rock partially covered with fog. What stood out for us was days prior to our reservation, they sent us cafe and restaurant recommendations nearby. I didn’t even have to do our research. They really made our stay a breeze! Hanging Rock Views - King Suites is aptly named. We enjoyed the serenity of sitting outside with a view of Hanging Rock whilst watching about 70 kangaroos graze nearby. The apartment is stylish & comfortable & we appreciated the breakfast provisions. Whilst we didn't use the adjoining lounge/dining area it provided a welcoming foyer to access our apartment.  Pre-arrival communication was excellent & lots of resources were available to plan excursions around the Macedon Ranges area. Open plan room of good size, self sufficient. Also, with a large communal lobby with extras. Helpful staff. Lovely range of breakfast choices, hot and cold, and snacks. Beautiful grounds with roaming kangaroos and views over the Rock and surrounding farms , hills. Excellent bushland just behind units for creek and bushwalks (definitely take the garters). We had a fantastic stay at Hanging Rock Views King Suites. The room was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed, the breakfast provided was gorgeous, especially eaten in the private porch watching the kangaroos and admiring the view, the location was stunning, the communal areas were great had everything you could want, and the communication from Chris was detailed and covered everything. We were so delighted with our stay in a King Suite at Hanging Rock Views. It's so beautiful - the apartment was luxurious and modern, with an amazing bathroom, huge TV, nice kitchen with a fresh basket of breakfast goodies - Chris Nicholson's emails were surprisingly thoughtful in the lead up to our stay. We were supplied with some vegan options as we had requested and this seemed no hassle to the management at all. With gorgeous countryside, it was amazing to see so many deer, rabbits and kangaroos also enjoying the serenity! Next time we will return with some other couples or family - the large entrance is an ideal share space with lounge, dining and kitchen would really lend itself to a group getaway also. This was a much - needed time for relaxing, but was very short drives to Woodend, Hanging Rock itself and lots of pleasant day trip options ( we did Kyneton, Hepburn Springs and Daylesford easily in one day ) Our only regret is that we couldn't stay here longer.

You could tell they really put thought into the comfort of their guests with little things like providing eggs, bacon and  all the trimmings to make yourself a great breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kangaroos were at the rear & front of the suite, we also saw deer at night which crossed over the track.  Views of hanging rock are spectacular. The suite was very clean & everything you needed. The outdoor area was great had a fire & drinks while watching the roos graze. You could also have a b.b.q and sit outside to dine. Breakfast was delicious. The under floor heading was lacking & needed more dry firewood but apart from that excellent. Ps.
